After spending six months in a facility, Professor T is finally released, but with one strict stipulation. Daan is back at the office, yet the atmosphere is tense as Annelies struggles with her guilt, putting a strain on their relationship. Meanwhile, the original team reunites, as their expertise is called upon to investigate a series of deaths connected to contaminated sweets, leading them to the manufacturing company responsible.
