S2E1 The Badlands

Lilly revisits her final case prior to joining the Cold Case Squad, diving back into the shocking triple homicide of a restaurant owner and his family, who were killed in the bathroom of their establishment in 2003. Each member of the team has their own motivations for solving the case; Jeffries has personal ties to the predominantly black neighborhood where the crime occurred, while Vera was the original investigator assigned to the case after Det. Rush departed.
