Tutankhamun's Egypt (1972)
S1E7 The King's Councillors
The pharaoh relied on a group of palace officials, akin to a private council, to assist in ruling the kingdom. They managed the nation's wealth, agricultural production, and livestock. Many members were skilled professionals who oversaw the creation of irrigation systems and the development of temples, tombs, and pyramids. This information was presented by Cyril Aldred from the Tutankhamun Exhibition at the British Museum.
