After relentless rough weather, the winter roads seem to be seeking payback. A huge pothole damages Art Burke's radiator, leading to a coolant emergency, while Todd Dewey's truck gets stuck in a deep snowdrift after misjudging a sharp turn. Steph Custance's attempt to navigate a slick ice crossing turns into a major mistake. Meanwhile, Alex Debogorski is faced with the challenge of transporting a construction shack that could be too heavy for the ice. To tackle this, the seasoned trucker resorts to dragging the hefty load across the frozen lake using a steel sled.
