A young woman falls to her death from a parking garage, prompting an investigation that reveals she was murdered prior to the fall and likely kidnapped. Detectives trace her watch back to her boyfriend, who claims she was a thrill-seeker and was abducted while participating in an intense role-playing game. Concurrently, Delko finds himself in a precarious situation when he accidentally disrupts an ongoing investigation into a car-theft ring he encounters.
