After Barney saves a baby from a runaway cart, Fred unexpectedly receives all the praise and recognition for the heroic act. Initially, Barney struggles to clarify the situation but eventually begins to relish the fame that comes with it. However, the disapproval from both Wilma and Dino, along with a nagging sense of guilt, eventually leads him to confess the truth about what really happened.
