At the same time, Mac, Hawkes, and Flack look into the murder of a despised plastic surgeon discovered drenched in lye, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers during the busy rush hour at Grand Central Station. As Mac and Stella help Aiden with a rape investigation, Aiden inadvertently breaks an evidence seal, forcing Mac to confront her actions and muster the courage to make the difficult decision to let her go.
