Earl Hickey awakens to a new beginning as he finds himself in possession of a $100,000 lottery ticket, only to have it slip away when he’s struck by a car. While recovering in the hospital, he has a moment of clarity and decides to atone for his previous wrongdoings. Joined by his brother Randy and a motel maid named Catalina, Earl compiles a list of his past transgressions. He embarks on a mission to make amends, starting with item #64—Kenny James, a classmate he bullied during their childhood.
