Dorothy is taken by surprise when her son, Michael, arrives at her home, revealing that he has separated from his wife and requires temporary housing. As time passes, Dorothy grows weary of his dependence and decides to pass him off to Stan. Meanwhile, Rose is feeling overwhelmed and struggles with the idea of approaching her boss about reducing her overwhelming workload.
