Colton, Jeana's son, injures his hand during a fight related to drugs. Meanwhile, Kimberly and her family enlist the help of a "dog guru" to manage their unruly pet. After a routine doctor's visit, Kimberly finds herself increasingly worried. Jo, now working, struggles to balance her job with household duties. Slade connects with his sons over his extravagant costume collection, while a lost bet forces Jo to tackle chores dressed in a rather risqué outfit. Vicki interrupts Briana's date, concerned that her daughter is getting too serious with Colby. Donn, who is unemployed, starts renovating a nearby house, and Michael finally secures a job. Vicki and Lauri's relaxing evening in the Jacuzzi is interrupted by Michael and his friends, who are all captivated by Lauri. Lauri is overjoyed at her son Josh's release from juvenile hall, but feels hurt when Ashley decides not to join the celebration.
