In Mexico City, the ruler Corona del Rosal seeks to undermine his primary rival in the race for the presidency by dismantling the National Security Directorate. Major Barrientos, head of the DNS, aims to bolster their influence and that of his superior by exaggerating the dangers posed by the student protests erupting in the city. He plans to respond with severe force, framing the movement as a significant menace to justify his actions.
