Meanwhile, the other detectives gather at the Waterfront, sharing amusing anecdotes about foolish criminals they've encountered. In a separate storyline, the judge presiding over Luther Mahoney's wrongful death lawsuit determines that the evidence warrants a jury trial. Sensing something amiss, Kellerman takes it upon himself to confront the judge in hopes of uncovering the truth.
