Country Matt comes back to assist his brother, who has just been released on parole, in confronting his anxiety around dogs. Meanwhile, Earl and Tia's daughter-in-law rush to rescue a stray dog wandering in the sweltering heat. Additionally, a pair of empty nesters drops by VRC hoping to find a new companion.
