Becca and her friends stumble upon a collection of letters from World War II at the bookstore. As they read selected letters, Martin portrays a soldier’s girlfriend employed at a factory, Smitrovich embodies a soldier operating a machine gun in a trench, and Burke plays another soldier reading a letter in a tent. Meanwhile, Eric snuggles up to Becca, and Jesse gets close to Jill, an art gallery woman. In a touching moment, Becca decides to return the letters to their original author. This is also the moment when Corky and Amanda officially tie the knot.
