In the aftermath of World War I, soldier Adolf Hitler took the opportunity to infiltrate the German Workers' Party. The party's intense nationalism and anti-Semitic beliefs resonated with his twisted ideology. He fueled the flames of animosity by promoting the myth of a superior Aryan race. As he solidified his political presence, he aggressively amassed power. When the Reichstag was set ablaze in 1933, it marked the end of democracy in Germany. At that point, there was no turning back for Hitler.
