Elizabeth and Tommy come to realize that achieving success isn't straightforward. Elizabeth dreams of attending a prestigious college in Vermont known for its excellent dance program, but Tommy struggles to cover the tuition costs. Meanwhile, Nancy enrolls in a correspondence course for hairstyling. Abby uncovers a dance scholarship opportunity, prompting Elizabeth to prepare for the competition. She begins training with a professional dance company, while Tommy looks for ways to earn some extra cash.
