Mr. Edwards struggles with alcoholism in the wake of John Jr.'s tragic death, leading to the collapse of his marriage. Seeking comfort, he returns to Walnut Grove to reconnect with his old friends. However, the strength of these long-established bonds is challenged when a mishap, resulting from Mr. Edwards' drunken state, puts Albert's life in jeopardy.
