After a local magician pulls off a trick that makes it seem like he can rotate his head completely, he's discovered dead in his van, his head expertly severed. This prompts Mulder and Scully to believe he was a murder victim. As they investigate, they unravel a complex plot orchestrated by two fellow magicians who are scheming to execute a bank heist.
