After being detained for espionage by Russian intelligence, Malotru finds himself vulnerable and isolated among fellow prisoners. Meanwhile, the DGSE in France is working diligently to uncover his intentions before acting. In a disturbing turn, Marina discovers that her phone has been compromised and is being exploited in a cyber assault on the Boulgakov Centre. In Iraq, Jonas begins to question the sincerity of a Jihadist who appears to have turned a new leaf, suspecting that he might be plotting to return to France under false pretenses.
