Wayloo Marie grapples with the harsh realities of war after the loss of Cherry. Meanwhile, McMurphy battles the system in an effort to prevent Dodger from being sent to Japan for further medical treatment. As KC struggles with her heroin addiction, she embarks on a quest to find Cherry's brother, all while making arrangements to return Cherry's body to Iowa for her burial.
