Life in a Cottage Garden with Carol Klein (2011)
S1E1 Winter
In the opening episode, January and February unfold with the garden still under the icy grasp of winter. The aftermath of a harsh season is evident, leaving plenty of tasks ahead—pruning, soil preparation, and planting garlic. As the chill begins to wane, the first green sprouts emerge, with snowdrops blanketing the woodland floor and hellebores showcasing their stunning hues. A nearby woodsman teams up with Carol to establish a native hedge. Gradually, the early hints of spring start to surface.
