Jardine and Reid delve into a murder case at a rural estate's swimming pool, where they discover one of the victims is Rick Mulvey, the former lead guitarist of the 60s band, the Adders. The band's singer tragically passed away during a tour 25 years earlier. Meanwhile, Ian Garvey, who is dating Kate McCready, faces a brutal assault from two bouncers. The next day, he is struck by DC Reid's car, adding another layer of complexity to the ongoing investigation.
