Opie expresses his frustration to Andy regarding his strict new history teacher, Ms. Crump, who piles on the homework. In response, Andy reassures Opie that not knowing every detail isn't the end of the world, leading Opie to think that history lacks significance. Determined to change Opie's perspective, Andy takes it upon himself to demonstrate the importance of history to both Opie and his classmates before Ms. Crump considers leaving her teaching position.
