Opie and his pals stumble upon a kind-hearted hobo in the nearby woods and take it upon themselves to play the role of Robin Hood, gathering food from their own homes to share with him. When Andy learns about their plan, he decides to meet the man himself, ultimately providing everyone with a valuable perspective on the true nature of wealth and poverty.
