After a nurse is brutally murdered, Hooker and his team dive into the investigation, which is part of a disturbing resurgence of similar killings from years past. The killer has a chilling trademark: sending a rose to the intended victim before each attack. With the help of a veteran detective who uses a wheelchair and a renowned psychiatrist, Hooker uncovers clues indicating that the murderer, who always appears in vintage nurse attire, might actually be a man.
