Under the Same Sky (2015)
Carlos Martínez, an undocumented immigrant in Los Angeles, navigates life with a relentless fear of deportation and the potential loss of his two sons, Luís and Rodrigo. His aspirations for a brighter future shatter when Rodrigo vanishes and falls into gang life. Determined to shield Luís from similar pitfalls, Carlos embarks on a perilous journey. Amidst his struggles, he crosses paths with Adela, a gang member who unexpectedly captures his heart, adding complexity to his already fraught existence. The tension between love, family, and survival unfolds against the backdrop of a city rife with danger.
