Luke finds himself smitten with an attractive swimming pool saleswoman named Miss Eberle, played by Peggy Knudsen. As he pursues her, his infatuation grows, much to the amusement of his family. Grampa, portrayed by Walter Brennan, and Kate, played by Kathleen Nolan, share in the fun as Luke navigates his feelings and attempts to win her over.
