Timothy “Curly” Leech and Amanda Makar embark on a fishing adventure for halibut using borrowed gear. Meanwhile, Gary Muehlberger challenges himself by revisiting former hunting spots to catch a “hooter” and prove he still has the skills. Sam Carlson, the local inventor and DIY enthusiast, attempts to construct a vertical access wind turbine from scrap materials salvaged from an old shipyard. Additionally, Hans Porter investigates the pH levels of the town's water supply, only to uncover a dead tree endangering the integrity of the town's pipeline.
