At the vineyard, Chase embraces Connie, excitedly sharing that he secured the loan to compete against Angela. However, Connie's past lover, Larry Michaelson, poses a potential risk to the bank's agreement. Meanwhile, Cole suspects that Connie might be a different kind of threat. Greg searches for Joel McCarthy, only to discover he overdosed at Camp Mary Jane. Confronting Richard, Greg expresses his doubts about Lance's setup, hoping to extract a confession. In Chinatown, Lance insists on including Lorraine in Angela's plans to send him to Italy, and she arranges a meeting at the boat. Pamela alerts Angela that Richard and the police are closing in on Lance’s location, but Lance narrowly escapes. When Lorraine arrives to find Lance gone, she dashes to the fire escape, but in her haste, she slips and falls two stories to the ground.
