At the Maryland Oakfield Penitentiary, Jarod adopts the guise of a prison guard as he investigates a death row inmate's wrongful conviction. His mission is to uncover the truth and exonerate the man facing execution. Meanwhile, Miss Parker, Sydney, and Broots receive a lead that suggests they might be closing in on Jarod, believing they have gained the upper hand in the chase.
