Upon learning about Lydia's involvement in the Save-The-Whales Telethon, BJ hatches a plan to host his own fundraising event and cash in. He launches the Save-The-Smells Telethon with the intention of making a quick fortune. However, as the event unfolds, he unexpectedly starts to believe in his cause. Surprisingly, this newfound conviction doesn't sit well with everyone. When the telethon funds vanish without a trace, public sentiment turns sharply against Beetlejuice, leaving him in a precarious situation.
