After Alana disappears once more, an officer drives Jenny back to her home. Jenny attempts to explain Alana's time-traveling abilities to her mother, but her claims are dismissed as fantastical. That night, Jenny sneaks out to reconnect with Alana, bringing her back to her house for refuge. However, Alana struggles to adapt to the everyday life of a typical teenager, complicating their efforts to find stability together.
