Jonathan's wallet goes missing after a lightning-fast thief named Bart Allen snatches it away, proving to be quicker than even Clark. Bart visits the Kent farm and strikes up a friendship with Clark, but his old criminal habits resurface when he discovers an ancient manuscript in Lex's possession. Clark soon discovers that this manuscript contains a map leading to one of the kryptonian crystals, prompting him to confront Bart to retrieve it before it falls into the wrong hands.
