After 700 years in space, NASA's shuttle makes a dramatic return to Earth, ultimately crash-landing. The only survivor is Emerson, Kortan's unscrupulous Immortal companion, who holds the key to invisibility. Before the trio can reach him, Kortan manages to track Emerson down.
