Despite their divorce, Victoria Edwards finds herself in a tight spot when her ex-husband Michael becomes a guest on her cooking show. Tragedy strikes when he dies shortly after tasting the dish they prepared together, leading to Victoria being accused of his murder. Matlock steps in to defend her, and in the process, he enjoys some delicious home-cooked meals.
