Matlock spots a familiar face at a triathlon: a retired FBI agent he once represented. The former agent is still haunted by an unsolved case from years ago and asks for Matlock’s help. Though the race is underway, Matlock can’t resist the pull of a mystery, and the two begin digging into cold leads and buried evidence, hoping to finally uncover the truth.
