Julie comes back to Atlanta from L.A. for a legal conference and is contacted by a former informant who confesses to lying. She persuades Ben to take on the case of a thief who had one strict rule: never burglarize a home when someone is present. Meanwhile, after Jerri speaks with Susan Kellogg, a mother who lost her daughter in a hit-and-run around the time Brenda Chaney was killed, Matlock starts to sense that there’s much more to this case than initially apparent.
