Ranma ½ (1989)
Teenage martial artist Ranma Saotome and his father Genma visit the mystical Jusenkyo training grounds in China, ignoring the local guard's cautions. Their misadventure leads them to plunge into cursed springs, resulting in Ranma's bizarre transformation: cold water turns him into a striking redhead, while hot water restores him to his male form temporarily. Complicating his life further, Ranma finds himself betrothed to Akane Tendo, a strong-willed girl with a pronounced disdain for boys. Thus begins a chaotic journey filled with martial arts, romance, and an identity crisis.
