Foster stumbles upon Joshua trapped in a quantum pocket—a hidden fold in reality where he’s been forced to repeat the same impossible task endlessly. It’s punishment for ever helping Foster in the first place. Each cycle erodes a little more of Joshua’s hope. Foster realizes the only way to break the loop is to face the consequences of their connection head-on.
