When Bud comes across a couple stranded on a sailboat, he rushes to assist the injured man and his wife. However, things take a turn for the worse as the boat gets ensnared in perilous coral reefs. In a moment of urgency, Bud realizes he must summon Flipper for help to navigate this sticky situation and ensure their safety.
