A young ranger trainee arrives at Coral Key to connect with Porter Ricks. It quickly becomes evident to the Ricks that this newcomer is overly confident and needs to learn the importance of adhering to the rules. Ignoring Bud's guidance, he puts Bud's life at risk and then shifts the blame onto him. Will this ranger ever come to understand the true essence of being a ranger?
