After Dave Smyth departs from the wharves to start his career in the police, his father criticizes him, labeling him a 'lackey of the capitalist classes.' As Dave navigates his new role, his allegiances are quickly challenged, leading to a series of conflicts that put both him and his fellow officers at Yarra Central in jeopardy.
