As DI Kate Ashurst and DS Emma Scribbins delve into the case, they face pressure from the old boys' network while narrowing down their list of suspects. Among them are Shelley Simon Weaver, a stripper, and Grace Bailey, Charlie's business partner and club manager, who harbored deep feelings for him.
