Dr. Gillespie learns from a psychiatrist that a patient has admitted to committing a crime for which an innocent man is facing execution. Despite the shocking revelation, the psychiatrist is adamant about keeping the patient’s identity a secret, leaving Gillespie in a moral quandary as he wrestles with the implications of the confession and the impending execution.
