Pati encounters the talented young chefs behind Xokol, a vibrant new restaurant in Guadalajara, where they celebrate their heritage by incorporating traditional corn into a mouthwatering menu. In Tequila, she stops by to see Chef Marin from Solar de Las Animas, who crafts a drink and dessert that pays homage to his grandmother. Returning home, Pati welcomes her friend Francisco Migoya to whip up one of his renowned desserts, perfectly complementing her favorite dish of pellizcada and chicharrón in salsa verde.
