Butch and Bill are focused on closing the distance with the lower forty-eighters once and for all. Meanwhile, Carl wrestles with Super Jeep’s mechanical issues, hoping she can hold up long enough to keep them in the lead. Brent and Scott decide to tackle the challenge solo, trusting their “Leigh tough” mentality instead of teaming up with others. Despite vowing not to assist their rivals, Pete and Shey inadvertently find themselves helping out once again. Jason, determined to show he deserved the victory, is willing to take down other teams to prove his point.
