Maxine confronts Jerrod over his views on traditional gender roles, prompting the Carmichael men to assert their masculinity by tackling the roof repairs. At the same time, Maxine takes it upon herself to demonstrate that a woman is fully capable of changing a tire on her own, without any assistance from a man.
