During a visit to a different hospital, Watson becomes convinced that a patient in a coma is actually experiencing locked-in syndrome and has been misdiagnosed for more than ten years. After the patient is moved to UHOP for care, they surprise the team with unsettling messages. Meanwhile, Sherlock has returned and is staying with Watson.
