Dennis makes a trip to see a reclusive hermit living in the forest. Mr. Wilson, believing the hermit to be a Civil War veteran, is eager to uncover the man’s life story. Intrigued by the hermit's past, he sets out to learn more about his experiences and adventures, hoping to gain insight into the wisdom of a life lived away from society.
