As federal troops converge on Harper’s Ferry, John Brown and the remnants of his army prepare for a final confrontation. After Brown is captured and sentenced to public execution, Onion, now completely alone, bravely takes a chance to bid farewell to his mentor. This marks the conclusion of the series.
